Pn. Nurhidayah bt. Dato’ Hj. Badaruddin, a native of Selangor and resident of Precinct 16, Putrajaya since 2008, has been a significant figure in uplifting the image of competitive, leading and highly efficacious women. She has dedicated her efforts to various fields such as education, business and volunteer work to build a compassionate, caring, and socially conscious Malaysians.

Her academic and professional journey is quite impressive.

She pursued her A Level LLB at Stamford College in Kuala Lumpur and earned her Business Administration from University of Indonesia. Later she received her MBA at Welmington University Sri Kembangan. Leveraging her knowledge, she embarked on her career as Co-Founder of Autismo Curacao, an Autistic Foundation in the Caribbean Island, South America (1993-1997). Her second child, who has autism, has since successfully graduated with a Honours Degree in Medical Science from MSU. Having said that, her method of parenting have been used by a lot of parents with special needs. She also served as a Director at ATN Homes Sdn Bhd upon her return from the US (1998) and was chosen among Top 10 nominees for The Young Entrepreneur Award in Sri Nona Trophy Season 4.

From 2001 - 2005, she worked at Australian International School under Special Needs Divisions (AISM) to teach and guide special needs children with autism. Between 2005 and 2015, she focused on nurturing her own children while working with a few NGOs. She then worked as a Personal Assistant to YM Tengku Dato’ Dr. Hishammudin Bin YAM Tengku Bendahara Azman Al- Haj.

She began involving herself in a few NGOs since 2008, serving as the Head of the Economic Bureau, Honorary Treasurer and Head of Human Relations. Her contributions led to her lifetime membership at LKPIM, the Islamic Women's Welfare Malaysia, PERKIM Putrajaya. She was selected as Honorary Treasurer of Perdasama Putrajaya in 2015 and Koperasi Perdasama Putrajaya Berhad in 2021.

She is also known to established Swim Putra Association Putrajaya. She assisted Parent-Teacher Association of SK Putrajaya Presint 16 as a committee member for 3 years and later to SMK Putrajaya Presint 16 for 5 years.

Her five children have excelled academically and in sports, representing States and Malaysia (MSSM) in running and swimming events and proudly all five have become National Ice Hockey players. Due to her leadership skills as Team Manager of the Malaysian Women's Ice Hockey Team in 2012, Pn. Nur was later appointed to lead National Men’s Ice Hockey Team to the World Championships Tournament in Bosnia Sarajevo 2023.

In 2017, she resumed her career by heading THZ Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd in Putrajaya until 2020. In 2021, she established NVF Health & Beauty in Putrajaya.
